Tonight's Poet Corner: Introspection

Week went okay. Still breathing, though I had to fight a cold. Had a lot of successful lessons, got to see my students perform some poetry while my mentor teacher and I performed some of our own. Had some great intellectual conversations with my other mentor teacher. I'm working with a few new students at my private school job, and it's fantastic so far.

Now I have a lot of work to do for my performance assessment - lot of writing to do, some video reviewing. I won't lie that I'm nervous. I get anxious that I won't pass, but I hope that, when my graders look at my work, they can see that I can succeed as an educator.

Have a great night and a great weekend, everyone, and Happy Easter if you celebrate it!
