Today's OneWord: Tutor

My mother wanted me to work with a tutor who was only three years older than I, and despite my best efforts, I grew more than a little fond of her. Still, I loved seeing her, and every time she smiled at me, which made her brown eyes gleam like pools of burnt sugar in a shallow spoon.
