Tonight's Poet Corner: Lover Night

Lover Night
by Belinda Roddie

I'm
wandering in a crop circle
shaved
into the back of your head,

tall
dry

stalks

of wavy red wheat.

I crane my head
and I see
stars,
a
supernova
coating the sky above
in

hot white wax.

I encase my lips in it.
I literally
seal you a kiss.
