Tonight's Poet Corner: Sonnet Solstice #310

I Spied A Herd by Belinda Roddie I spied a herd of goats that were deployed to graze along the untamed hills and fields. I only could guess they had been employed by the high school nearby. They wanted shields from flame, and so instead of controlled burns, some billies with a craving did the trick, chomping on weeds and dried up summer ferns, eating so much they must have gotten sick (but hey, they munch on garbage, so maybe I was way off). I restarted my stroll and left the mammals in their jubilee - their free buffet, as it were, as the whole town waited for the sunset. Well, at least I saw no salt deposits for the beasts.

Today's OneWord: N/A

No update on the OneWord website today. Looks like it's an every other day sort of pattern. Oh, well!
