Today's OneWord: Concept
People don't exactly understand the concept of sensible discourse. It's like watching a group of angry, fat, mustached men snorting and huffing over cigars and brandy in an early 1900s style, farcical resemblance of a boardroom. You mention anything remotely contrary to a previous statement, and they take it as an attack of those ideas. Because that's most unorthodox, isn't it? And soundly you feel like you're surrounded by large-bellied, suit-wearing walruses, barking and sneezing and calling you a communist when all you've asked for is some respect for being a struggling teacher.
