Saturday's Storyteller: The Waiter

The Waiter by Belinda Roddie She couldn't take my order because I was stuttering too hard. She brought me tea, thinking that would calm me down. She held my hands and remarked, "Man, your skin is so cold!" But I was so, so fucking warm inside me. My bones, my blood, my organs. Everything. She had red curly hair and beautiful bronze skin. Her nails were long and painted orange "for the autumn." She invited me to go with her to the taco truck next door after her shift because, "You're never going to find better ceviche." That hottie of a waiter got such a good tip. This week's prompt was provided by an online random word generator.
