Tonight's Poet Corner: Sonnet Solstice #495

This March by Belinda Roddie This March, I have retreated to a realm of couches, video games, and cocoons of blankets and comforters. I have felt no pain, nor joy, nor sorrow since the moon of last March. I have become quite the husk rather than human, shriveled in my bed or in front of my computer. I must hydrate, or I forget that I'm not dead, and I feel my own shadow start to wheeze. Nah - that's kind of dramatic - though this year has been insane, there have been things that pleased me. It's just that, to an eye and ear, it's like we've been sucked into quite a void where the concept of time is unemployed.
