Tonight's Poet Corner: Introspection

Image
It finally happened. After ten years of posting updates on my blog to Facebook, the social media hemorrhoid has decided that it is done with My Cardboard Balcony. This blog site has been flagged as "abusive spam" now, and consequently, not only can I no longer share my blog on Facebook, but I also had to witness all of my past blog posts removed. No one is reviewing this flagrant abuse of the system, and the best assumption I can have is that someone reported me by mistake. The best assumption, mind you. So here I am. I was ready to celebrate ten years of My Cardboard Balcony in September of this year. Zuck the Suck continues to prove how shitty his creation can be. This does not, however, deter me. I will continue to post and share my writing spurts, and I hope you all remain for the ride. Bookmark my page! Visit it every day! There are always updates. There are always writing shenanigans. Please spread the word about My Cardboard Balcony. The Internet is an incredible place

Freeform Friday: My Mental Schedule

Image
My Mental Schedule by Belinda Roddie How do dragons blow out candles, and when do deer learn to blink? What if birds flew north instead of south for the winter, and what if Santa Claus retired? How many times can a woodpecker handle splinters in his bill, and once we're done dancing in the moonlight, will the sunrise soothe the muscle aches and drama? I should sleep, but instead, I'll dwell on fantasies and lullabies in clouds' drowsy lips.
