Tonight's Poet Corner: The Concept

The Concept by Belinda Roddie Let the visual weave its fingers together with the verbal, who sings praises for the visual, while the visual blushes and smiles and gives a little wave to its audience. Once they're holding hands, they will present the theme perfectly - all lines intersecting, all shapes bearing heavy angles, all colors decorating the mosaic flattened onto a piece of weathered paper. Motifs need their winged messengers. Morals have subtle wives. Let the visual embrace the verbal, and then you've built a body that remains bold.

Today's OneWord: Amplified

Everything was so damn loud. Everything was amplified. All the noise split ears in two, and every child in the room cried. There was no more peace or quiet. There was no more tranquil calm. All I heard through the tinnitus was the banshee's endless song. Pretty soon, there'd be a riot, if there was no end to the song.
