Tonight's Poet Corner: Introspection

Nope. Still nope. This week was just as crazy as the last, if not crazier. I do not have the energy to write about it. Teenage drama is not fun. Deadlines are not fun. Writing poetry you can't share is not fun. Government shutdowns are not fun. I'm going to bed, and tomorrow, I'ma protest the fuck out of this ridiculous administration. One year, y'all. The orange man's only been in power for one year. Have a great night and a great weekend, everyone.

Friday's Ten Word Tales: Hidden Words

Hidden Words by Belinda Roddie I wrote a poem today that no one will read.

Today's OneWord: Twin

Twin? Twin? I have one of those! She's pretty cool. She lives in New York, and I could take her kidney if I needed it. Not that I would just take it; I mean if I was in the hospital, and I needed a kidney, then she could give one to me, no problem. My body wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. It'd be like welcoming a part of the family home. Anyway, most of my students don't know I have an identical twin sister, but hey - I'd consider her my best friend.
