My Cardboard Balcony

I found a roll of duct tape underneath my father's bed and wondered just what he planned to do with it. Keep in mind, this was after I found a hammer, a box of pushpins, and a switchblade in the exact same spot on the dusty carpet. I was collecting all of these items and putting them in a wooden chest of my own, kept away from my father's sight. He never brought up any of the missing objects, so I didn't say anything about them, either.
