Tonight's Poet Corner: We Dressed In Chainmail

We Dressed In Chainmail by Belinda Roddie A couple years back, we discovered our father's foam swords, fashioned shields out of raw wood, dressed in chainmail, and set out to slay the local dragon terrorizing our agoraphobic neighbor. When we got to the scene, we saw fire emanating from a barbecue pit, and we stabbed at the embers feverishly until the tips of our weapons became sooty and black and the police were called to see what the noise was. We explained the situation and said we deserved the key to the city from the mayor because we had slain the Grill Dragon. Instead, we got grounded for two weeks (by our mother) and a pat on the back and high-five (from our father who said, "Next time, we'll go on a quest together.")

No update for OneWord today! Guess we're starting a pattern of "OneWord/NoWord" here (heh). Let's wait for tomorrow.
