We watched a clip of the baseball game from last night, but no one seemed excited. In fact, no one seemed to be enthusiastic about anything. Stewart lounged in the easy chair, drinking a warm beer and belching every once in a while. Carter nearly slumped against his computer, the only two things holding him up being his elbows. And I kept pacing around the beaten carpet, wondering just how the Hell I was supposed to get my boys out of their funk.
