Tonight's Poet Corner: Wild Child

Wild Child by Belinda Roddie They called her unruly, uncouth, unwilling to follow "basic rules." They sneered at her lack of hygiene and etiquette, slapping her hands away from soup bowls and forcing her to use spoons. If only they understood that she was this way because her mind, spinning on a hamster wheel, couldn't stop long enough to scream.
