Tonight's Poet Corner: A Cheap How To

A Cheap How To by Belinda Roddie there's not much you can do to stem the tide besides ripping up a flag besides toppling a tower besides clocking a Nazi right square in the crooked jaw besides sitting in a police car with your hands cuffed behind your back but your middle fingers still extended toward those fascists screaming their pseudo-supremacy and their bullshit fake superiority while the marble keeps crumbling while the facade struggles to stay intact

Today's OneWord: Daisies

Paisley suits, rubber boots - we'll pick a daisy or two. Roses and hoses to wash away the gloom. Picnic baskets, empty caskets, watch the graveyard bloom. For the poor saps already underground, some wreaths of daisies will do.
