Tonight's Poet Corner: Our Trip To Sausalito

Our Trip To Sausalito by Belinda Roddie Our hands are like webs in slow motion being bristled by a cool evening breeze. There is laughter kept behind our eyes and happiness shaking our knees. We are two bodies, warm, by the coastline, where the view bares all stories untold, and the silhouette of San Francisco sits before us while bathing in gold. And it's enough that we're here together, and it's enough that our kisses still linger, and it's enough that we're watching the sunset with the heat exchanged between our fingers. It's enough that I love you so dearly, and it's enough that you love me as well, and if we say all these words sincerely, that's more than enough - I can tell. Happy anniversary, Arden. Thank you for five amazing years. Let's make it five amazing more.
