Tonight's Poet Corner: Sonnet Solstice #489

I Drink Water by Belinda Roddie I drink water out of my tankard now, as well as wine, whiskey, cider, and mead - I drink ev'rything from it, rinse it out, and fill it up again. I pay no heed to glasses, cups, or tea mugs anymore. Just provide me this stein, and I am well, and so I to the drinking gods implore that they respect and deem worthy my quell of other inferior vessels. As I lift this tankard to my lips, I see the Great Hall of Valhalla, walls of glass, and majestic Norse skylines before me. The only exception I shall make, though, is a cup atop the bathroom sink, so.
