Tonight's Poet Corner: I've Reached My Limit

I've Reached My Limit by Belinda Roddie All at once, my heart goes limp, turns sideways like a dead fish, seeks out Heaven in an oversized blimp. The attack makes the cameo. The pulse morphs into fried cable. It's like my eyes have melted into tiny static crystals, molded into marbles that can hardly replace the ones I've already lost. I'm shaky and confused, and while I'm happy for the support, I can assure you, once the dust has settled like cinders around the podium, that I am exactly 110% done.
