Tonight's Poet Corner: Razed

Razed by Belinda Roddie It cools the temples to burn temples with not a burden or restraint, and once the bricks have crumbled, they are like ash in the night. And while the shadows will pretend that they have seen the light, their silhouettes dance without end to music that's unheard. It's easy to forget the value of a single word, though once it's scorched, it glows far frighter than one could contend. The pain will only last so long and will not leave a dent. For comfort, you can return to your almonds and champagne.
