Tonight's Poet Corner: I'll Take It
I'll Take It by Belinda Roddie Today felt oddly productive. I had tea and Christmas cookies for breakfast, filmed some Tiktoks, managed a bit of theatre company business, listened to the same song over and over, dropped off some gifts for family and friends, had a nice lunch, put away some dishes and washed others, shuffled around some money in my various bank accounts, played some Animal Crossing, ate some cheese toast, made egg salad for dinner for the wifey, played with the cat, strummed on my mandolin, and spent about six hours talking with newfound nerdy friends. Notice that I didn't grade, build on curricula, or write anything beyond my blog expectations, yet today still felt oddly productive. Nice.
