Tonight's Poet Corner: Introspection

Nope. Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. I'm not writing an introspection tonight, folks. This week was rough. Returning to work was rough. Dealing with deadlines and student drama is freaking rough. And to quote Lisa from The Room, "I don't wanna talk about it." So I'm going to bed. And for the entirety of tomorrow, I am not going to remotely look at anything work-related. And on Sunday, I'm spending some quality time with my brother. Monday - and only on Monday - will I focus on work again, even though it's technically a day off. Here's hoping that the next week is way better. Have a great night and a great weekend, everyone.

Today's OneWord: Environment

This is not the kind of life I was hoping to have. This is not the kind of environment I wanted to be a part of. Look - all the people's faces are blurred. It's like a camera caught their stare and turned their scared eyes into pixels. They shamble aimlessly about, tripping over divots in the road. I think I might disintegrate into a smudge on a lens, too.
