Today's OneWord: Walled

Disconnected from a cobblestone path, the small, quaint cottage had been quite literally walled off from the rest of the outside world. I did not know the code to open the gate, so I had to wait in the rain for it to be opened for me. As I walked across the driveway, water dripping down my brand new red blazer, I wondered whether or not seeing my agoraphobic great-aunt again would be worth it. Then I remembered her stories. They were always the reason why I came to visit.
