The soft bristles glided over the paper, leaving a light wash of pigment behind them.

"Look, Mommy! I made a rainbow!"

And so she had. All the colors beaming from a watercolor smile. All the pride oozing from the white paper. Both mothers smiled and held hands as they perused their daughter's art. Yes. Perfect.
