Tonight's Poet Corner: A Very Special Gift

A Very Special Gift
by Belinda Roddie

for her birthday, and she rode
it through the streets of downtown,
and cars and buses screamed to a stop

he sipped black coffee in a mug that he
held with his free, slightly trembling hand.
