Tonight's Poet Corner: Hot May Night

Hot May Night
by Belinda Roddie

drinking cold ones
in a huge hot tub
with my two best friends
who are totes not gay

though they giggle
at each other's bad jokes
while I let the jet stream
tickle me in all
the sensitive spots

stomach's still digesting
all the sushi we ate
and the sake we sipped
my best friends
shared a plate of hamachi

come to think of it
maybe neither of them
are super straight
and we make a damn
sturdy tricycle right now
