Tonight's Poet Corner: Introspection
All right! So! What happened after my last introspection? Weeeelllll...
- I got to go to my third seder ever with family, friends, and loved ones.
- I enjoyed Easter brunch with my wife, parents, and in-laws.
- I got Monday off from work.
- I wound up being absent Tuesday due to a horrid migraine. Ouch.
- I had my students discuss authority and why we resist it at times.
- I ate a big shrimp burrito.
- I got to see Mamma Mia! at the high school I work at.
- Now I get to celebrate my cousin's 80th birthday on Sunday.
- And the yearbook's so very, very close to being done.
Now. This is where it gets silly. For nineteen days straight, the oneword™ website had not been updated, and in fact, its security certificates became outdated. Now, I wrote about this situation jokingly in my sonnet last week, but my OneWord entries were the only regularly occurring segments on my blog. I just feel like, if this black hole trend kept going, I needed to do something else.
Welp - turns out, it got updated tonight! Talk about the dry spell. Guess I better hop back to the daily posts and the continual and eventual climb to #1 OneWorder. Welcome back, single word prompts!
