Today's OneWord: Banks

The banks had closed. The money had stopped flowing in and out. The reserve was non-existent. Currency, by this time, was no longer relevant.

It had injured the country badly. Bartering was considered an old, outdated form of payment, and as a result, companies lost money and closed down as well. Car makers stopped making cars. Computer makers stopped making computers. All people worried about now was maintaining their homes and getting food.
