oneword™ May Be Dead
by Belinda Roddie

oneword™ may be dead, and I do not know
if it shall ever be revived. The site
is plagued with insecurities, the glow
of the white screen untarnished in the night,
yet still announcing, "stale," as the word of
the day. 'Tis been over a week since I
saw an update, and alas, my sweet love
for sixty second single word prompt dies
that I type out each blog post entry. And
perhaps I shall never be number one
in oneword™ posting, and yet, here I stand,
my pedestal at number three - how fun.
The future for oneword™ may still be gray,
but for now, my fingers scream out, "N/A."
