Briny Boys

in pickle juice
to simulate the sensation
of the ocean on their beans
then they lick the beans
and it tastes good
so it's a win-win
situation for the vulpines
they screech
that they are satisfied
into the snowy tundra
before digging new burrows
for the night
where their spouses
will brew them tea
and sing them the song
of their furry and frenzied people
