The Evil Nightmare Dragons
by Belinda Roddie

The evil nightmare dragons rule the skies
in this dark, demented metropolis,
but I know where their power truly lies.
I know of a garnet, true purple kissed,
that we could destroy to eradicate
their strength. It won't be easy, the journey,
but you have your axe, and I have my blade,
and we shall set sail in the Soulless Sea,
where we will find this gemstone. This city
cannot survive beneath a fright'ning wing
span, nor can it endure this symphony
of cacophonous monsters. We shall sing
of better days again, but all beware
the consequences of this foul nightmare.
